Migrant and Spanish Ministry Back to Outreach Page

Brother Wyman has been a member of Lighthouse for many years. He is a fine gentleman and is an asset to Lighthouse Baptist Church. He sings in the church choir and has a fine bass voice. He has for many years been active in the Migrant Ministry. This year he was responsible for the Haitian ministry. We hope to enlighten those who may not fully understand the scope of this type ministry. These people come into our area every year to help harvest the peach crop. They work very hard picking peaches in the heat of the day and live, rest, sleep in a very undesirable condition. We go once every week to their camp to sing, preach and feed them. Several of them understand English and they interpret the message into their own language. All was accomplished this year on a strictly voluntary basis under the leadership of Brother Wyman. He also invited them to come worship and sing in their own language at Lighthouse Baptist Church. Everyone enjoyed their presence in Sunday school and the worship service.

Brother Powell is the proprietor of the Aiken RV Park located at 2424 Columbia Hwy.1 North. He has been instrumental in starting a Spanish speaking Mission. The first services began Saturday, Oct.5th, at 7 PM. Anyone interested in assisting this Ministry, Please contact Bro. Powell at Aiken RV Park, ( 803 ) 649-4137, or contact Aiken lighthouse Baptist Church, (803) 648-1129.

The Harvest for Lost Souls has begun!

Total Number SAVED as of 11/26/02:

8

This number represents 8 Souls who will spend Eternity with the Lord Jesus Christ, being a joint heir of all things with Him. Without this blessed Gift of Salvation they would have spent all Eternity being tormented in fire and brimstone.

(Rev 20:10 KJV) And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

(Rev 20:11 KJV) And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

(Rev 20:12 KJV) And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

(Rev 20:13 KJV) And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

(Rev 20:14 KJV) And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

(Rev 20:15 KJV) And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
